How the health-adjusted retirement horizon works
Most retirement calculators plan to a single fixed age for everyone, which either underestimates the savings needed for someone in excellent health or overestimates it for someone with significant risk factors. This tool instead starts from your biological age — a lifestyle-adjusted estimate of how old your body effectively is — and queries your country's life table from that starting point, producing a personalized expected retirement length rather than a one-size-fits-all number.
